Description
Yarn Hairiness Tester is used to measure hairiness in yarn by using projection counting method (photo electric principle). This machine, which is also called as Shirley yarn hairiness tester, will auto calculate the the hairiness length, quantity and etc.

2. Yarn Hairiness Test Principle
This hairiness tester adopts the projection counting method. When the continuously moving yarn goes through the detection area, its hairiness will block the light or the hairiness will be magnified and shown on the screen. In the meantime, the light sensor will detect the changes and sorts the hairiness according to the preset length from one side of the yarn.
