Maeser Water Penetration Tester UI-FT37

Maeser Water Penetration Tester is used to test footwear upper leather dynamic water resistance. It is suitable for all kinds of shoe upper leather. Water penetration and water absorption can be measure by Maeser water resistance tester.

• – 4 test positions with separately counter; if one position water penetration is detected, this position would auto stop and the other three would continue the test until the water leakage is detected.

Measer Water Resistance Tester Principle

This tester is to simulate shoe leather upper water resistance in daily wear. Amount the sample on V-shaped clamps then to flex the sample in certain angle and speed. The sample would contact with steel balls. With the steel ball, the machine would detect the water penetration when a current leakage is found. Here for more leather testing machine.
