ICI Mace Snag Tester UI-TX07
Description
ICI Mace Snag Tester – ICI Mace Tester is used to test fabric snagging resistance ability. It is suitable for woven and hnitted fabric made from textured or untextured filament yarns and etc. ICI Mace Snag Test Method includes ASTM D3939, JIS L1058, GB/T 11047 and etc.
ICI Mace Test Procedure Summary
The cylindrical sample is placed on the rotating drum, and the mace suspended by the chain is placed on the surface of the sample. When the rotating drum rotates at a constant speed, the nail mace randomly flips, jumps, and snag the sample on the surface of the sample. After the specified number of revolutions, evaluate the sample snagging degree by comparing with the standard sample.

ICI Mace Test Purpose
Due to the external action, the fibers and yarns of the textile will be pulled out and pulled out from the original position by the hooks, forming deformation, protrusion, wrinkling and the like on the surface of the textile, in order to check the anti-hook of the textile. Phenomenon or understanding what happens after the textile has been tested by snagging, it is necessary to test the product for anti-snagging. The ICI mace snag tester can quickly detect how easily the fabric is snagged (ie, the yarn is drawn from the fabric).
