Description
Shoe Bending Stiffness Tester – Shoe Rigidity Tester is used to test shoe stiffness/rigidity by flex shoe to certain angle by certain force.
The shoe bending stiffness test is a necessary test before outsole flexing test as per ISO 20344. Footwear which requires force (30Ā±0.5)N to flex lower than 45Ā° from horizontal is not suitable to test on outsole flexing tester.
Shoe Bending Stiffness Tester Principle
This shoe rigidity is a shoe flexing tester. Clamp the shoe forepart on the machine and apply a force of (30Ā±0.5)N and flex the sample at a speed of (100Ā±10)mm/min until the force has been exerted. Then to measure the angle at this point.
